John York
John is a financial services professional with New York Life that is incredibly passionate about helping his clients live their best life now while continually building a better life for the future. He focuses on educating clients, so they understand how to use their money efficiently and optimize the value of their dollars. He also enjoys teaching young adults the power of the time value of money and helping them establish an achievable path to a fulfilling retirement.
John graduated from Texas A&M University with a double major in marketing and information systems. He was proud to be recognized as an Executive Council member with New York Life in 2022*.
Being involved in the community is something that is really important to John. He volunteers with the Prosper Education Foundation, which is the school district his children have attended. He also volunteers with McKinney Main Street/MPAC Group to support the local arts in McKinney.
John and his wife Janine live in McKinney and love the area. He has three children that are at different points in their college journeys, but all love playing sports. Peyton plays and coaches soccer, and Cade and Carson both play football. John loves watching each of his kids play sports and traveling to see them compete. He also has a passion for music and has played guitar since he was 12. He’s currently in three bands that perform around North Texas and feels fortunate to share his gift with the community and help others sing along to amazing music.
